Aims and Objectives of KVK

Krishi Vigyan Kendra plays a vital role in conducting on-farm testing to demonstrate location-specific agricultural technologies.

It aims at assessment of location-specific technology modules in agriculture and allied enterprises, through technology assessment, refinement, and demonstrations. It also aims to apply agricultural research in a practical, localized setting.

Krishi Vigyan Kendras have been functioning as Knowledge and Resource Centres of agricultural technology, supporting initiatives of public, private, and voluntary sectors for improving the agricultural economy of the district.
